Local Community Resources

Here you will find local community resources to help with everything from issues with elder abuse, to school bus transportation. We have included contacts for your local representatives, including school boards and local trustees.

NROCRC Community Resource Centre

A community service organization servicing the Nepean, Rideau, and Osgoode area that helps connect vulnerable individuals and families to community resources and social programming. They are a non-profit charitable organization and their services and programs are free.

Rural Ottawa South Support Services (ROSSS)

A non-profit, charitable organization providing rural community support services and advocacy for the  rights of both active and physically disabled seniors, adults with physical disabilities, and their caregivers.

Ottawa School Transportation Authority

The OSTA is responsible for overseeing the transportation options for students of the OCDSB and Ottawa Catholic School board.

West End Legal

A community legal clinic which serves low income residents by providing free legal advice, services and representation to those who meet their eligibility and geographic requirements.

Para Transpo

A public transportation alternative for customers who are unable to take conventional transit (buses and O-Train) some or all of the time due to a disability.
